About WalletInsights

Our Mission

WalletInsights exists because choosing a hardware wallet shouldn't require a degree in cryptography. We provide independent, data-driven reviews of every major hardware wallet on the market, scored against 40+ criteria using an open-formula rating system.

Unlike manufacturer-sponsored reviews, our ratings are calculated from verifiable specs — not opinions, not sponsorship deals. Every score can be traced back to its inputs. When we say a wallet scores 82/100, you can see exactly why.

We launched in 2025 with a simple goal: be the most transparent and technically accurate hardware wallet review platform on the web.

What We Stand For

Independent research. Transparent methodology. No hidden agendas.

Transparency

Our rating formula is public. Affiliate relationships are disclosed on every page. We never hide how we make money.

Independence

No manufacturer has editorial influence over our content. Affiliate revenue never affects ratings or recommendations.

Security First

We verify security claims against firmware, hardware specs, and audit reports — not marketing materials.

Honesty

We don't fabricate social proof, inflate user counts, or use fake testimonials. We're a new platform and we're upfront about it.

How We Make Money

WalletInsights earns revenue through affiliate partnerships with hardware wallet manufacturers and authorized retailers. When you click a "View Best Price" or "Buy Now" link and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.

This is our only revenue source. We don't sell ads, sponsored placements, or paid reviews. A wallet's rating is determined solely by its specs and our open formula — affiliate status has zero influence on scores.

Our Rating Methodology

Every wallet is scored across 5 categories with weighted formulas. The methodology is fully documented — anyone can verify our ratings.
